I&#039;ll definitely have to check out Smith Family.  I&#039;ve been dreaming about Black Sheep Gathering this year, stopping through Portland at The Real Mother Goose and Powells on the way.</description>

		<description>What, Powell&#039;s doesn&#039;t really cast a glow in the sky like the emerald city of Oz?  There aren&#039;t bands playing outside the door, and nymphs strewing flower petals as you walk in the door?  I guess that&#039;s only in my head script as I enter the sacred halls....

I lerve Powell&#039;s!

In Eugene, we have Smith Family books, with 2 locations, and it&#039;s really a mini-Powell&#039;s.  Both are multi-level, multi-room 2-hour minimum bookstores with new and used. Worth a visit if you&#039;re ever driving through with time to kiil :-)</description>
